Anticipated Timeline

All current facilities will be available to members until the end of the membership year on March 31.

We would then like to see work start soon after that, so that the new course and club upgrades can be delivered in as little time as possible.

During the time the course is closed, all other facilities will remain open, including the clubhouse, the driving range, the six-hole Academy course and the shop, although there may be some different opening hours to meet demand. The Blacknest team is available to help members find another local club to play at while our course is closed.

While course works are underway, we will continue to offer the members’ discount of 10% in the bar/ restaurant, driving range and pro-shop. However, if you do not wish to use your discount then you can receive a refund for any monies held on your Clubcard by the March 31.

All being well, bar any unforeseen circumstances, we would hope that the exciting new course, fit for the future and with state-of-the-art drainage and irrigation, will be ready by the autumn of 2025.

As we are proposing an inclusive venue, there will be no new memberships offered. Instead, we will operate on a flexible payment basis. There will be an option to purchase an annual pass with a preferential rate for past members.

We are committed to ensuring that Blacknest remains a welcoming golfing community and that players can continue to take part in competitions and maintain their handicaps on the 12-hole course.

To manage demand, a tee times booking system will be in operation
